CMT/ABATE, Inc. is not a “Biker Club”, but a non-profit, political organization that was formed to preserve freedom and safety for all Tennesseans who enjoy motorcycling.
Our major goals are to modify existing laws that are detrimental to motorcycle safety and enjoyment, and to enact new legislation in support of all motorcyclists who ride in Tennessee, to educate not only riders but all drivers to safe awareness of motorcycles amd motorcyclist. Local charters play a major role in making CMT/ABATE, Inc. an effective organization by contacting their area legislators to inform them of how the local membership feels about issues affecting motorcyclists. Your concerns regarding laws, awarness,and safty in regards to riding in Tennessee, we want to hear from you.

Director
"Yankee" leads the Smokey Mountain Charter. He is a devoted family man to his wife, son and grown children. He has a passion for the purpose of the charter and the freedom of the ride.
Co-Director
"Boston" is dedicated to the positive image and goals of Smokey Mountain CMT-ABATE. His love of the ride and to see the charter move forward is untouchable.
Legislative Coordinator
postion is open till after this years election but will be filled after state elections
Secretary
"Patches" is a stay at home mom who puts in an abundance of time to the purposes of Smokey Mountain CMT-ABATE. She is the back bone of the charter.
